The Lie Detector
In my opinion, the story The Lie Detector is very interesting. While I was reading the story, I noticed that Lewis Thomas,"the author", is totally right when he says that every time we lies, something inside our bodies begins to function inadequate. From my personal experience, I totally agree with him because every time I tell a lie, I feel bad, nervous, and I also act in a unusual way. He also explains about the lie detector machine what I think is not a good idea to have it. The reason I believe that lie detectors is not a good idea is because if we would test every person to see if he or she is lying, then confidence, and truthful would no longer exist. In conclusion, we should believe in every body, and if anyone tells us a lie, that person is not only lying to us but to himself or herself.
